Fall Survival Checklist: The OFA Report
The Old Farmer’s Almanac Report
The Old Farmer’s Almanac has always been a great inspiration for What To Do. In fact, we often think of WTD as The Old Farmer’s Almanac for suburban yuppies. As is our tradition, each season we like to check in with them to pass on key information you need to know to for the season ahead. (We figure they wouldn’t mind the publicity.) Sometimes we augment their information with our own tips and stylings. So whether you look to WTD to plan your social calendar, tend to household chores or care for your livestock here’s some news you can use from OFA and WTD:
Meteorology: The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts a warm, dry autumn for the Atlantic corridor. Expect temperatures in September and October 1° to 3° above normal and rainfall 1” to 1 ½” below normal. Bad for the lawn – good for day trips and outdoor activities.
