Hudson Chorale’s Giant Tag Sale in Pleasantville: Hudson Chorale, the area’s most acclaimed not for profit community chorus, will be holding a Tag Sale fundraiser at a private residence on the corner of Bedford and Manville Road in Pleasantville. All proceeds going towards hiring professional local orchestral musicians and soloists to accompany us in our semi-annual concerts. The proceeds allow us to support local artists and keep our ticket prices low. The event is held rain or shine. First looks for hungry shoppers on Early Bird Friday October 4 from 8:00 am – 9:00 am for $10.
This is NOT your typical neighborhood tag sale of used toys and children’s clothing. The Hudson Chorale is a 70-voice chorus directed by Ira Spaulding, who is currently Professor of Vocal and Choral Music at the City College of New York. Weekly rehearsals are held at the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church, and singers come from throughout Westchester and surrounding counties.
