Gail Collins Chappaqua Library Fundraiser: New York Times Op-Ed Columnist, Gail Collins discusses her new book, No Stopping Us Now: A History of Older Women in America. The book offers a eye-opening look at American attitudes towards age. Collins gives women reason to expect the best of their golden years.
Gail Collins joined The New York Times in 1995 as a member of the editorial board and later as an op-ed columnist. In 2001 she became the first female editorial page editor.
Event hosted by the Chappaqua Library, cosponsored by the Friends of the Chappaqua Library and the Town of New Castle.
Ticket includes a copy of the book. One ticket required per adult. Children 18 and under admitted free if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
