Paramount Hudson Valley Reopens
Paramount Hudson Valley, Peekskill’s historic 1500 seat theater reopens in August with a full summer into fall lineup featuring top comedians, national tribute bands, family entertainment, and throwback hit makers Orleans and the Average White Band. This Westchester County landmark Westchester’s second largest venue and is on the New York state and National Registers of Historic Places.
Bell Bottom Blues, an Eric Clapton experience band kicks off Paramount post-COVID run on August 21 with a deep dive into Clapton’s songbook from The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominos. More tributes follow in the fall including Gypsy celebrating the music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, Destination Motown, Almost Quenn and No Quarter who will pound the Hammer of the Gods in their full character based Led Zepp show.
Trans Gen comedian Julia Scotti is the first standup show on the Paramount’s docket and will be followed by SNL/Jerry MaGuire star Jay Mohr and Westchester’s red hot first-gin Italian-American funnyman Anthony Rodia. Finally, mark your calendars for big-time soul, R&B and Funk with The Average White Band on September 24 and 1970s radio hitmakers Orleans (“Still the One”, “Dance With Me.”) on October 29.
