The Sanctuary Series: Rhapsody in Blue Alert

Pianist Jeffrey Biegel perform in The Sanctuary Series’ debut recital for their 2021-22 season. Mr. Biegel, soloist for Kenneth Fuchs’s Grammy award winning “Piano Concerto “Spiritualist with the London Symphony Orchestra has been described by Leonard Bernstein as “a splendid musician and a brilliant performer.”

Chosen as the first pianist to record for the Steinway & Sons label, his performance will feature Bach and Beethoven as well as several new pieces he wrote during the pandemic. One of which, “Reflection of Justice: An Ode to Ruth Bader Ginsburg,” he premiered on October 7 with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

The concert concludes with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
