Pandemic Players: The Philadelphia Story

The Schoolhouse Theater’s Pandemic Players present an (impromptu) reading of the 1939 American comic play by Phillip Barry about a socialite whose wedding plans are complicated by the simultaneous arrival of her ex-husband and an attractive journalist. Written for “box office poison” Katherine Hepburn the success of The Philadelphia Story on stage turned around her film career.
