Art from Katonah Classic Stage
Katonah Classic Stage resumes its play reading series with this benefit reading of Yasmina Reza’s classic comedy, “ART”, at Oak & Oil Gallery in Katonah. on February 25 & 26, 2022, at 7 p.m. This event will have limited seating capacity so get your TICKETS now!
“ART ” explores the relationship among three friends when one buys an expensive contemporary painting, that is white – all white and nothing else. The play, set in Paris, debuted there in 1994, moved to London in ’96 and Broadway in ’98 – where it won the Tony Award for Best Play.
The reading will feature Broadway veterans Ray Anthony Thomas, Jordan Lage, and Trent Dawson, and runs approximately 90 minutes. It will be directed by Dan Foster. Complimentary wine and light refreshments will be offered and a discussion with the performers will take place afterwards.
This reading will serve as a fundraiser for KCS’s Artistic Production Design for their Fall production of Noel Coward’s classic comedy Private Lives.
