Rhyme & Reason retraces the history of the art form, from its birth in the Bronx to the new heights it reached in just a few decades. The film covers topics both popular and thorny, examining the inspirations behind some of Hip Hop’s hitmakers, while also questioning issues of gender equity and financial inequality in the music business. The documentary features interviews with artists like Chuck D, Lauryn Hill, Ice-T, The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Salt-N-Pepa, Sean Combs, RZA, Wu-Tang Clan, and many, many more.
