Bedford Playhouse: Broadway in Bedford: The Bedford Playhouse’s new Broadway in Bedford monthly series presents stars from Broadway musicals performing live on the Playhouse Lawn on three Sundays and one Saturday at 5pm. The series kicks off on Saturday, May 23 with a Best of Broadway lineup assembled by Wicked Musical Director Dan Micciche that includes Dee Roscioli (Wicked, Fiddler); Edward Watts (Scandalous, The Fantasticks), Kevin Massey (Tarzan, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder), and Kara Lindsay (Wicked, Newsies). 

On Saturday June 26, Broadway in Bedford will celebrate Pride Week with a Broadway Role Reversal program that will feature women singing traditional men’s tunes and men singing traditional women’s tunes. Broadway in Bedford celebrates the Leading Ladies of Broadway with a program of ballads and upbeat fave raves from an all female cast. Finally, on Sunday, August 22 the Playhouse’s outdoor Broadway musical series concludes with a salute to the Golden Age of Broadway with classic songs from the 1940s & 50s.
