Local! Groundhog Day, Bedford – Fri, 2/2: 7:30pm: Celebrate Groundhog day with the Bedford Playhouse at this screening (just $5) of the 1993 hit comedy from Harold Ramis, Groundhog Day. The film, stars Bill Murray as a Pittsburgh weatherman who spends Groundhog Day (over and over again) in Puxsutawney, PA waiting to see if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow and courting Andie McDowell. In 2006, the film was added to the United States National Film Registry as “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.
