Caramoor Summer Festival 2024
Caramoor Summer Festival tickets are on sale now. This year’s festival of classical, jazz, roots and opera features 33 events at four different venues on Caramoor’s 81 acre grounds. Jazz at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis will open this year’s festival on Saturday, June 22 and Mokoomba, a six-piece Afro-fusion band from Zimbabwe will close the festival on Friday, August 16.
New this year, Caramoor branches into dance when the Mark Morris Dance Group takes the Venetian Theater stage on August 1. Equally as exciting, fireworks return to Caramoor this year at their annual Pops, Patriot & Fireworks celebration on Independence Day. And no Caramoor season would be complete without their ever-popular all-day Jazz and Roots Festivals,
Additional season highlights include Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster on Saturday, July 13, Les Arts Florissants’ new production of Purcell’s The Fairy Queen on Saturday, July 20, the Baroque orchestra Apollo’s Fire will perform Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons on Sunday, July 28, Richard Goode will perform an-all Beethoven program of piano sonatas on Friday, August 2, burgeoning American Roots legend Rhiannon Giddens will perform on Saturday, August 3, and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and Jeremy Denk will perform Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 on Saturday, August 4.
