The series launches on September 25 with a performance by American singer-songwriter Amy Helm, a founding member of the alt-country collective Ollabelle and former member of the Midnight Ramble Band. Other popular music livestreams at Caramoor this Fall, include the Aaron Diehl Trio on October 16. Diehl, a classically trained pianist and a rising star of jazz piano, is one of the preeminent interpreters of the Great American Songbook. He is also the musical director and arranger for jazz vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant, with whom he’s appeared at Caramoor. And on November 20, Caramoor presents Cabaret in the Music Room Benefit Concert with Tony Award-nominees Laura Osnes (Anything Goes) and Tony Yazbeck (On The Town). Here these Broadway stars reunite for “An Evening of Gershwin Greats and Other Favorites”, the same program they performed at Lincoln Center to rave reviews.
