Community Center of Northern Westchester 2015 Prom Drive
Community Center of Northern Westchester 2015 Prom Drive: The Community Center of Northern Westchester’s 2015 Prom Drive helps local students of limited means obtain the special outfit they need to enable them to realize their dreams of attending their prom. The Center collects dresses, tuxedos, shoes and accessories donated by the communities. Local teens are invited to make a confidential appointment at the Center to outfit them for the prom.
In addition, Elephant’s Trunk, the high-end Mount Kisco boutique, hosts a private evening dress-fitting event in April for the Center’s annual prom drive, offering the use of their store after hours. Young women come to choose dresses donated by the community.
“With donations from our generous community, local teens can enjoy their prom and graduation events, even if their families have limited resources,” said Sherry Wolf, the Center’s Executive Director.
To donate gently-used formal wear and accessories call or visit the center at 914.232.6572, 84 Bedford Rd., Katonah; www.communitycenternw.org)
