A Taste of Westchester: Tredici North: Italian cooking is in Chef Giuseppe Fanelli’s blood. His family hails from Puglia where they produce olive oil in their own grove. He has worked at several of NYC’s most renowned Italian restaurants, from Felidia’s to Rao’s. Now at two Westchester locations, he brings elevated Italian fare to the suburbs. He has been featured on “Man Finds Food,” “Kitchen Casino,” and as the champion on The Food Network’s “Chopped”. Here he demonstrates some of his special dishes: crispy artichoke truffle Pecorino salad and tagliatelle hunter’s ragu. Learn to properly prepare the catch of the day. Our talented chef teaches the secret to peanut butter chocolate panna cotta. Small class, so sign up quickly to catch a glimpse of what he has brought to the ‘burbs!
A Taste of Westchester Cooking classes are part of the Westchester Community College Adult Education program. Each class is offers a live demo, often interactive, with an outstanding local chef. After the demonstrations everyone eats the lesson plan. Usually with an expertly paired glass of wine or craft beer, courtesy of the chef.
