COVID Safety Guildeines
In accordance with Center for Disease Control guidance on COVID-19 prevention measures, SoundWaters will carry a maximum of 25 passengers on public sails.
At check-in passengers will be screened for any observable illness, including cough or respiratory distress, and asked if they are experiencing any of the above. Screenings will be logged.
Boarding will be staggered and in groups of no more than five people at a time.
At boarding the captain and crew will identify a seating area for each passenger/passenger group. The seating areas will allow for a minimum of six feet of distance between unrelated/unconnected parties. No seating area will include more than five individuals. Parties of more than five will be separated into two or more seating areas.
SoundWaters will limit the sale of tickets to no more than five per person.
Passengers will be required to wear masks while proceeding to the vessel, while boarding, and while disembarking. They may remove their masks once in their designated seating area.
Captain and crew will wear masks at all times while within six feet of passengers or each other.
Passengers will be required to clean their hands with alcohol-based sanitizer that will be provided at boarding. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the sail and its use encouraged.
Passengers may bring food and beverage aboard. However, they may only share food with the individuals in their designated seating area. No catering nor buffet-style food will be permitted on public sails. Crew will not assist passengers in any way with food or beverage.
The crew will perform cleaning procedures before boarding, one hour into the sail, and after returning to the dock to disinfect hand rails, deck boxes, and any surfaces gear that passengers have access to.
