Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band, Paramount Hudson Valley: The band from the Broadway show Rock of Ages brings the show’s music to Paramount Hudson Valley for one night. The singers in the band all starred in the Broadway show as well.

Rock of Ages is a jukebox musical built around classic rock songs from the 1980s. Especially from the famous glam metal bands of that decade. The musical features songs from Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison and Europe, and more.

The show premiered at King King, a club on Hollywood Boulevard in 2005. It moved east in 2008 when it opened off-Broadway at New World Stages before opening on Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre in March of 2009. After a move to the Helen Hayes Theatre soon thereafter and run for 2328 shows before closing in 2015. It tied with The Man of La Mancha as the 29th longest running Broadway show of all time.
