Capitol Theatre: Todd Rundgren
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Todd Rundgren is best know for his hits “We Gotta Get You a Woman,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” “I Saw the Light,” “Hello, It’s Me” and “Band the Drum All Day Long”. But he has had an unorthodox and diverse career as a solo artist and with stints with the bands Nazz, and Utopia. His career has ranged from singer/songwriter to psychedelia and Progressive rock. As a music producer he has credits on Grand Funk Railroad’s We’re An American Band, Badfinger’s Straight Up, Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell, and the New York Dolls’ New York Dolls.
