Caramoor Summer Festival: Pianist Zhu Wang

China-born Zhu Wang, an alumnus of Caramoor’s Evnin Rising Stars mentoring program and winner of the 2020 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, has been praised by The New York Times as “especially impressive” and “a thoughtful, sensitive performer” who balances “lyrical warmth and crisp clarity.” His intimate recital bridges piano literature from Germany, China, and America, from the realms of opera, ballet, and the afterlife.

Recitals in the Music Room / This new series of Saturday late-afternoon hour-long classical recitals are designed with our avid chamber music devotees in mind. Each program features alumni of Caramoor’s mentoring programs. Please stay to say hello to the artists after the recital!
