CORNucopia at Philipsburg Manor: This novel corn festival offers an inspired bounty of corn-centric delicacies (corn bread, salsa, chips, chili, ice cream and popcorn). Plus live cooking demonstrations (corn grinding & cooking). Best of all, there’s corn=y games and crafts such as Konk-a-Crow, Ring-a Cob, corn-shucking races and a mini maize-maze. You can even take a house tour and a walking tour of the farm There will be bluegrass and folk music.
Don’t miss the sweet corn ice cream from The Blue Pig. And the draft beer and root beer from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company at CORNucopia at Philipsburg Manor.
Philpsburg Manor is the only living museum of slavery in the Northern Colonies.
Wander along a woodland path and enter the year 1750, when Philipsburg Manor was a thriving milling and trading complex that was home to 23 African-American slaves.
Step into the working gristmill and learn about the work of Caesar, the enslaved African miller. Tour the manor house, where period artifacts and touchable reproductions bring to life the stories of the Philipse family and the enslaved community.
Visit the activity center and explore the daily life and labor of the Manor’s diverse inhabitants.

Horseman’s Hollow at Philipsburg Manor
Philipsburn Manor is also home to Sleepy Hollow’s premiere haunted attraction for Halloween.
Horseman’s Hollow takes the tale of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to it’s darkest extremes.
Philipsburg Manor transforms into a terrifying landscape ruled by the undead, the evil, and the insane. Visitors begin walking a haunted trail, stumbling upon scary scenes of a town driven mad by the Headless Horseman. Those who survive the trail enter the terrifying ruins of Ichabod’s Schoolhouse, where they must endure a twisted maze of horrors too terrible to describe, only to end up in the lair of the Horseman.
Heads will definitely roll…maybe even your own!
Horseman’s Hollow will return in 2019 for 16 evenings of highly entertaining haunted mayhem!
