A Grammy Award-winner, two-time Emmy Award nominee and founding member of The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom Flemons repertoire of music covers nearly 100 years of American folklore, ballads, and tunes.

Here he is joined by Amethyst Kiah, the Southern Gothic, alt-country blues singer/songwriter, who opened for The Mailbox Kids at Caramoor last summer. She also opened the sold-out Rhiannon Giddens (also featured in Ken Burns’ Country) show at The Playhouse last year. Amethyst is part of Giddens’ Smithsonian Folkways supergroup Our Native Daughters.
