Don McLean at The Ridgefield Playhouse
Forever associated with his iconic hits “American Pie” – the 8.5-minute folk rock “cultural touchstone” about the loss of innocence of the early rock and roll generation, and “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night),” McLean first hit the charts in 1971 and has amassed more than 40 gold and platinum records worldwide. Other hits include “Crying,” “I Love You So” and “Castles in the Air.” In 2004 he was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame.
