Friday Night Movies @ NCPL: Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold: LIU Professor Valerie Franco screens independent and foreign films at North Castle Library on Friday nights.

Director Griffin Dunne gives us a remarkably insightful & intimate portrait of acclaimed author Joan Didion. His aunt, author of The Year of Magical Thinking & Slouching Towards Bethlehem. Dunne’s documentary, which received an 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, looks at the life & times of the award winning author. 

Friday Night Movies @ NCPL: Professor Franco leads a lecture discussion following each film.
