Friday Night Movies @ NCPL, The Middle of the World: LIU Professor Valerie Franco screens independent and foreign films at North Castle Library on Friday nights.

This Portuguese drama follows the plight of Romeo as he travels to Brazil on his bike in pursuit of a job and a decent life. Based on a true story, this graceful road trip if a movie looks at life and how far people will go to fill it with meaning and purpose. In Portuguese with English subtitles.
