Home for the Holidays Celebrating Jerry Garcia: Jerry’s songbook fills the hallowed halls of the Capitol Theatre when Melvin Seals, Oteil Burbridge, Tom Hamilton, Duane Trucks, Jacklyn LaBranch and Lady Chi bring the community together, spread a little holiday cheer and celebrate Jerry in what would have been his 77th year.

Garcia’s affinity for the Capitol Theatre was made known during a November 1970 interview telling a reporter, “See, there’s only two theaters, man… that are set up pretty groovy all around for music and for smooth stage changes, good lighting and all that – the Fillmore and The Capitol Theatre. And those are the only two in the whole country.”
