Into the Woods, Hudson Valley Shakespeare: HVSF presents it’s first every musical with this production of the beloved Tony Award-winning Broadway hit, Into The Woods from Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. Into the Woods combines fractured fairy-tale favorites, spinning a dark (and campy) tale of magic and its many consequences.

Set on the grounds of Boscobel in Garrison, NY, the 250-acre river front estate of Peter and Elizabeth Dyckman, HVSF is more than a snooty day trip for name-dropping sophistos. The list includes Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, the Newport Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart, Charleston’s Spoleto Festival, California’s Ojai Festival, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Beckett, MA and the Grand Teton Music Festival set at the foot of the Grand Tetons – to name a few.
