Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival Livestream, This Green Plot: A Virtual Picnic Benefit: In lieu of their annual Gala, HVSF presents a virtual picnic celebration, streamed from the site of their future home.

It’s actually a picnic benefit and you can order a specially prepared picnic basket from The Garrison (a restaurant that always makes our Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Worth the Trip List) for home delivery.

Or you can just check in for the exciting musical performances starring HVSF favorites and special guests. The evening will include our 2021 season announcement and an inspiring virtual peek at our future home. HVSF announced earlier this year that they will be moving from Boscobel to a new permanent home on a tract of land previously part of the Garrison Golf course. The land was donated to them by Christopher Davis who owns the course. The new location offers similar Hudson River and Hudson Highlands views as Boscobel.

The gala will feature special guests and musical performances from HVSF favorites including Kayla Coleman (Into the Woods), Liam Forde (Into the Woods),Mingo Long (The Music Man at Goodspeed), Kurt Rhoads (Cymbeline), Leenya Rideout (Into the Woods), Britney Simpson (Into the Woods), Emily Walton (Come From Away on Broadway), and Nance Williamson (Pride and Prejudice). The musical performances will be directed by Jenn Thompson (Into the Woods).
