Julia Scotti’s Trans-Comedy at Paramount Hudson Valley: After performing for 20 years as Rick Scotti, the new and improved Julia has gone full she/her since 2011 – racking up awards and with LGBTQ and straight audiences alike and making Simon Cowell laugh.

She has been named one of the Top Five Transgendered Comedians in the Country by Advocate Magazine, and was one of the winners of the Laughlin Laugh Festival in Nevada. She was the first transgender comedian to appear on national television and was a quarter-finalist on the show. Simon Cowell said that “you genuinely made me laugh” as she introduced herself to a national audience on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. Julia will release her second comedy album later this year following her best seller Hello Boys I’m Back!”

Anita Wise, an American stand-up comedian who has appeared on The Tonight Show with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno and on several Seinfeld episodes will open the shoe.
