Katonah Classic Stage: Pinter Festival – Applicant/The Dumbwaiter

Part Two of Katonah Classic Stage’s Pinter Festival opens on October 19 with the production of two works, Applicant and The Dumbwaiter. Two of his earliest plays, Pinter’s Applicant and The Dumb Waiter helped establish the unique Pinter style known as the comedy of menace. These exquisite, absurdist, terrifying yet hilarious plays beg to know what power is in charge of it all and whether or not that power has any idea of what it is doing.

Pinter’s Applicant and The Dumbwaiter is co-produced with the LA based Pacific Resident Theatre, will open on October 19 and run through the 29th. Also at Whippoorwill Hall.
