Katonah Classic Stage: Talley’s Folly
The Katonah Classic Stage Company presents a stage reading of Lanford Wilson’s 1980 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Talley’s Folly – a romantic comedy set in one night, in one at a romantic boathouse in Lebanon, MO.
The reading will feature two veterans of the Broadway stage. Including, Elizabeth Shanley who originated the role of Mary Jane Healy in the American Repertory Theater production of Jagged Little Pill, and received Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Actress in a Musical when it was produced on Broadway in 2020. And Bruce Sabath, who recently preformed in New York in the Off-Broadway musical, Cagney at the Westside Theatre (and at the York Theatre), Stephen Sondheim’s Follies (Astoria Performing Arts Center) and the award-winning revival of Michael John LaChiusa’s Hello Again.
