KMA Honors Philippe de Montebello

KMA Honors Philippe de Montebello: Director Emeritus of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art will receive the Katonah Museum of Art’s annual Himmel Award at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center. Mr. de Montebello will discuss the changing world of museums and art with KMA Executive Director Michael Gitlitz after the ceremony.

The Himmel Award is held in honor of Betty Himmel “in recognition of creators, conceivers, radical thinkers and risk-takers that provoke new thinking in art and design.”

Following the award and lecture event there will be a Post-Award Dinner at Crabtree’s Kittle House at 11 Kittle Road in Chappaqua.
