Kykuit Tours Begin
Tour the Rockefeller Mansion in Pocantico Hills. It is What To Do Number 1 on a proper ABC towner Bucket List in our area.
The Classic Tour (fabulous) the main floor of the house, the art galleries with the famous Picasso tapestries, the inner garden, golf room and Coach Barn – featuring the Rockefeller’s collection of horse drawn carriages and a half century of cars. From a 1907 Ford Model 8 to a 1966 Datsun 1600 Roadster. There’s a Crane Simplex Tourer from 1918, a 1939 Cadillac and a Chrysler limousine with Governor plates from 1959.
The Grand Tour is the only one that will take you to the second floor of the house.
Tours are available Friday to Sunday May 12 to September 30 plus Memorial Day, July 3 & 4 and Labor Day. Tours are available daily except Tuesdays October 1 to November 12 when Kykuit Tours close for the season.
