New Castle Historical Society Annual Meeting & Lecture: Zoom into the New Castle Historical Society’s 55th Annual Meeting featuring guest speaker Derek Anderson, Executive Director of Northern Westchester Hospital who will present a talk on the history of the hospital – “Northern Westchester Hospital: Caring for the Community for More Than a Century”. Mr. Anderson will explore how the hospital has grown and responded to changing community needs. He will also discuss how the hospital has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Derek Anderson joined Northern Westchester Hospital as Executive Director in 2019 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hospital. He has written about hospital management and is a certified fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a member of the Healthcare Leaders of New York. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
