New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show: NYBG’s Holiday Train Show in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory features more than a dozen large scale model train sets (from miniature G-scale to super-sized). The trains zip across a quarter mile of track and a landscape of 140 scaled replicas of iconic New York City buildings made of birch bark, acorns and cinnamon sticks and pine cones. Including, the original Penn Station and Yankee Stadium, Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. An absolute must do for grown ups, families and kids! They even have adult only bar car nights where y0u can get lost in the childhood fantasy while sipping trendy cocktails.

• Access to this year’s exhibition is limited to members only due to to 25% capacity limitations. Access to the Holiday Train Show will be limited to Members, Patrons, Corporate Members, and Bronx Community Partners this year due to safety protocols that include social distancing. The Train Show is open Tuesday to Sunday and Monday Federal Holidays. from Thursday, November 12 through Sunday, January 31. Because of the limited access this year we only list weekend dates on our calendar.
