NWH: Easy Springtime Cooking: Warm sunny days = more time outside and less time for cooking. Join Registered Dietitian Amy Rosenfeld for a virtual cooking demonstration to learn to make easy, fast and delicious springtime meals. These simple recipes will leave you with more time for springtime fun and a delicious meal on the table. All ages are welcome – this demonstration is appropriate for anyone who would like to watch! Recipes will be provided a few days ahead of time so you can cook along with Amy. It is recommended if you are cooking along to prep all of your ingredients ahead of time.
About the Presenter:
Amy Rosenfeld, MS RD CDN is the Registered Dietitian for the Center for Healthy Living at Northern Westchester Hospital. Amy received her B.S. in Psychology from Skidmore College and her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She completed her clinical training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital where she received her credentials as a Registered Dietitian. Amy has had a colorful and diverse career in the field of nutrition and community health – working with people from early childhood through adulthood in hospitals, doctor’s practices, corporations, community settings and schools. Amy’s approach is to inspire patients to be nourished for life – develop sustainable, personalized and positive health habits at any age. Amy’s true passion is gathering people around the table to learn to cook and eat delicious, healthful meals together.
