NWH Weight Loss Classes in Chappaqua: Northern Westchester Hospital’s Center for Weight Management is offering a twelve week weight loss class at The Center for Healthy Living at Chappaqua Crossing. The “Nourished for Life” classes are led by a multidisciplinary team of trusted clinical experts from Northern Westchester Hospital. Including registered dietitians, nurse practitioners, exercise physiologists, mental health professionals and sleep specialists.
Whether you are looking to lose weight or adopt a healthier lifestyle, this class series will give you the skills and motivation to achieve your goals in a supportive environment from trusted experts. No more dieting, fat-shaming or frustration – just positive, lifestyle changes that will keep you Nourished for Life.
Each 60 minute class includes a lifestyle education topic and the chance to ask questions and gain support. Classes will always include an interactive activity that will teach you practical skills to advance your goals, such as cooking demonstrations in our Teaching Kitchen or a grocery store tour at Whole Foods Market. Topics will include nutrition 101, meal planning and cooking skills, healthy snacking, hydration, mind/body food connection, managing stress, optimizing sleep, exercise and physical activity, and strategies for dining out and eating on vacation.Description:
Classes held weekly on Fridays from 12:30-1:30 pm in NWH’s new Center for Healthy Living, located next to Whole Foods Market in Chappaqua Crossings. Classes run every Friday from January 24 to April 24 except for February 14 and April 10.
