Pandemic Players Present Art: The Schoolhouse Theater’s Pandemic Players’ (impromptu) play readings continue with this reading of Yasmini Reza’s 1994 French comedy about three friends whose relationships are frayed – set off by a purchase of a very expensive painting whose canvas is completely white except for two very fine, barely visible white lines. The play premiered in Paris in 1994, subsequently opened in London in 1996 where it ran for eight years. It won the Tony for Best Play on Broadway its 600 performance run there in 1998 and 1999.
