The Armonk Players present Gino DiIorio and Nancy Bleemer’s comedy about love and mistaken identity. The Story follows Vincent a single, lonely and reluctant new owner of Centennial Casting, a metal-casting shop in downtown NYC. He finds a stack of head-shots from eager actors submitting photos for what they mistakenly assume is an “entertainment-casting” office. Struck by the photo of one down-on-her-luck actress, Vincent is convinced by his best friend to pretend to be a casting director in order to meet her. Edie arrives for an “interview” and sparks fly as Vincent begins living a hilarious double life of show business and sheet metal. Vincent struggles to find a way to reveal the truth to Edie without losing her forever. A heart-warming, romantic comedy, filled with twists and turns, catharsis and cannolis.
