The Capitol Theatre: Tommy Emmanuel

Legendary acoustic guitarist, Tommy Emmanuel plays in the Chet Atkins musical style (Travis picking) of playing bass lines, chords, melodies, and harmonies simultaneously using the thumb and fingers of the right hand. His music explores a multitude of musical influences and styles, including jazz, blues, bluegrass folk and rock.

Tommy has a new television special called Accomplice LIVE! which begins airing on PBS in March of 2023. This special features some of Tommy’s best-known songs and duets with his accomplices such as Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Sierra Hull, Yasmin Williams, and many others.
