The Church Tavern Challenge: The Church Tavern Challenge is five distinct races. Each races winds through the hills and country lanes of South Salem, starting and finishing at St. John’s Church. Following the competition runners can cool down and relax with delicious barbecue and beverages. There will be musical entertainment and fun games for the kids. St. John’s Parish sponsors the race to benefit the Community Center of Northern Westchester and the work of the parish.

Here are the start times for each race:

1oK run starts at 8:30am.

5K run starts at 8:45 sm.

5K walk starts at 8:45 am.

1 Mile run starts at 10am

1K kids fun run starts at 10:30am.
