The Pandemic Players Present An Inspector Calls: The Schoolhouse Theater’s Pandemic Players’ (impromptu) play readings continue with this reading of J. B. Priestly’s classic of mid-Century British Theatre, An Inspector Calls. Priestly’s three-act drawing room drama follows a prosperous English family from the north-Midlands who are visited by an Inspector Goole, inquiring about the suicide of a young working-class woman in her mid-twenties. The received a successful revival by English director Stephen Daldry for the National Theatrein 1992[3] and a tour of the UK in 2011–2012.
