The Ridgefield Playhouse: The Genesis Show

After performing the 1980 Duke Tour for the last 3 years, The Genesis Show returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse with the 1976 A Trick of the Tail Tour.

The Genesis 1976 A Trick of the Tail Tour represents the first time Phil Collins assumed the duties of lead singer after the departure of Peter Gabriel. It is also the only tour to feature Bill Bruford of Yes and King Crimson as the Genesis touring drummer. It features many Gabriel era songs such as Supper’s Ready, Firth of Fifth, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, and Cinema Show.

It also showcases the start of the Phil Collins era and one of the greatest progressive rock albums of all time, A Trick Of The Tail with classics such as Dance On A Volcano, Entangled, Squonk,
