How To Stay Fit:Fall Road & Trail Races 2021: The Fall Road and Trail Races and Charity Walk season is coming back slowly but surely. In 2018 we published 11 events and now we’re down to seven after adding a new one the BRLA Fall 10K. The missing trail races and charity walks that we are still trying to track down include: South Salem’s Church Tavern Challenge sponsored by St. John’s Parish which usually kicks off the season on Labor Day; the Run the Farm Race at Muscoot from Westchester Parks & Recreation, and the Bedford Turkey Trot, an annual day after Thanksgiving Event. Support Connection’s Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer at FDR Park is currently a “walk where you are event” scheduled for October 3 – though they are trying to go live. And the American Heart Association Heart Walk was moved to the spring earlier this year. Get outdoors and stay fit this fall.
