La Crémaillère:: We’re starting off our Best Menus HVRW list this year with Westchester’s most widely acclaimed culinary hot spots. A celebrity magnet since 1961, La Crem has been named one of America’s Most Beloved Restaurants by Town & Country and one of America’s Most Romantic by Open Table in 2017. This year’s HVRW menu features a Cauliflower Veloute, Pike Dumpling with Basmati Rice and Champagne sauce, Skate with Grenobloise Sauce, Vanilla Pan Cotta with organic slices and berries coulis And you can be sure it is all exquisite.
The Cookery: Dobbs Ferry: (Dinner: Wed—Fri) Chef Avid Debari’s soulful Italian Gastropub is offering up his most eclectic and innovative HVRW Menu ever. Check out these starts: Duck Liver Cannoli, Stuffed Clams & Marrow Oreganata, crisply fried Octopus Maraina with pistachio-serrano salsa and his classic Heirloom Meatballs. Plus one selection from his Pasta or Mains menu, such as: Lamb Bolognese Radiatore, Cauliflower Ravioli with lemon, brown butter sauce, Pork Osso Buco or Whole Roasted Pulcino (young chicken) with white beans and pickled black currants.
Red Horse by David Burke: Sticking with our “classics” theme for HVRW Spring 2025, you can never go wrong with a trip to David Burke’s New American crowd pleaser in White Plains. Stunning urban design and a great menu is a great way to start an HVRW memory. And David Burke always adds some of his signature dishes to his HVRW menu. Including his Lobster Dumplings for starters and his Beef Short Ribs and Asian Glazed Shrimp for entrees. It’s hard NOT to order these dishes even when choosing from hid full menu. For an add-on price you can also find his famous Clothesline Bacon and Hipster Fries.
