Jacob Burns Film Center Sounds of Summer 2024
The Jacob Burns Center’s Sounds of Summer film series returns with 14 evenings and afternoons of documentaries, concert films, live performances and music chats from Thursday, July 11 to Thursday, August 29. This eclectic curation of music films hits all the right notes from 1930s swing to Calypso, classic rock, avant-jazz, Bossa Nova and ambient music. And features music legends from Artie Shaw to Brian Eno, Stevie Van Zandt, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Zombies, Taking Heads and Louis Armstrong.
