G. Willikers, Katonah: Smart Toy Shopper Alert! Our favorite smart toy shop, located strategically in Albany, Saratoga Springs and Katonah (who knew?) is a repeat pick for our holiday gift guide. Their line of specialty and educational toys, games, puzzles, clothes and happy faces for infants to 12 years (and up) has its finger on the pulse of holiday moms and dads throughout our towns. They have a Bride Mack UPS truck in stock that redefines the concept of toy truck. whimsical jewelry boxes for little ones, a rock and roll rainbow piano for tots, and organic knit farm buddies stuffed animals. Plus a tasteful array of clothes and accessories that define some weird fashion space between preppy wear and granola wear for men and women. And for the holiday season a shopper’s delight of vintage toys and games and gift items.
