0 Neighbors Link on the Front Lines of COVID-10 Response: Adding to our list of local organizations who are part of our community’s response to COVID-19 – we pass this along from Neighbors Link Mt. Kisco.
Here are just a few examples of the work being done by Neighbors Link in response to the COVID-19 health crisis and the associated economic and social disruptions:
- Purchasing and distributing hundreds of gift cards to Stop and Shop so that families can buy basic necessities including medicines.
- Partnering with Feeding Westchester to distribute donated non-perishable food to the community on a regular basis to about 400 families each time.
- Partnering with 914Cares to make sure that families have access to diapers, wipes and other supplies.
- Partnering with two local restaurants To provide meals to those who live in small rooms and have no way of cooking or are homeless. Neighbors Link has made vouchers for them so that they can present them ar these restaurants and get a hot meal with a drink.
In light of the COVID-19 crisis, the Neighbors Link April 25th Spring Benefit has been changed to a virtual event. The Spring Benefit is the largest fundraising event of the year for Neighbors Link and right now, it needs the community’s support more than ever.
