Opus 465’s Last Night
Opus 465’s will celebrate it’s last night this Sunday before moving on to a new home in Bedford Hills. Marc Mazzarulli, a good friend to What To Do since 2005, asked us to post this letter to the Armonk community on his behalf. We are honored to do so and wish Marc well in his new venture in Bedford Hills. We’ll miss those Thursday nights with Geoff Hartwell – an iconic Armonk pastime.
Dear Armonk Friends and Neighbors,
Since 1997 I have called Opus 465 at 465 Main Street in Armonk N.Y. my home. I started this business in my twenties, a CIA graduate ready to take on the restaurant business no matter how many 18 hour shifts it would take. During this time I have also had the pleasure of working with so many amazing employees.
For 18 years it has been a privilege to serve our loyal customers. What a blessing it has been, over the years to make so many wonderful friends and to watch many of their children grow up.
During my time at Opus I have gotten married, had four children, started two off premise catering companies and many takeout & delivery businesses.
Having recently been given the opportunity to lease my space at 465 Main Street I have decided to make some changes. Sunday November 29th will be the last night the restaurant will be open. Although our doors are closing our kitchen will not!! We will be still operating at a temporary site until we open our new location in Bedford Hills early in 2016.
To all present and previous kitchen staff, bartenders, waiters, hosts, bussers, dishwashers and managers that have become a part of our Opus family. To all of our customers, our friends and supporters… you have enhanced our lives for 18 years and I want to say thank you for the journey.
Kindly,
Marc Mazzarulli
