Book lists, movie lists, online crafting workshops and Zoom sessions for shut-ins
Book lists, movie lists, online crafting workshops and Zoom sessions for shut-ins: The internet (and my Outlook mailbox) is full of ideas on how to fill all the empty hours I suddenly have in my COVID-19 shelter-in-place day. How about you? Are you getting a never-ending stream of “happy projects” to help fill your day? Lockdown book and movie lists, online crafting workshops and Zoom sessions for shut-ins. Like we suddenly have nothing to do. (WTF?)
In fact, the workload in our house hasn’t changed. Additionally, we now spend hours (more) shopping online for paper towels. And how do those ladies clean your house so fast? It takes us three days. Most painfully, we used to cook and wash dishes for four (two) meals a week. It’s now twenty. (Brunch on Sunday.) For four! Not two.
Since everybody, it would seem, is taking advantage of their new-found down time to learn new languages, brush up on their Python coding skills and read Marcel Proust – we had to find time to do something to keep up with our neighbors. So, we made this Spring Fever Playlist (almost called it a Mixed Tape) to play when we’re dusting. We decided to share it here, since you have so much time on your hands, too.
