Walk at Westchester for NWH’s Bruce and Andrea Yablon Cancer Health and Wellness Program
Walk at Westchester for NWH’s Bruce and Andrea Yablon Cancer Health and Wellness Program: Northwell Health will sponsor a walk to benefit NWH’s Bruce and Andrea Yablon Cancer Health and Wellness Program on Sunday, May 21 at 10am. The walk will be held at Franklin Delano Roosevelt State Park at 2957 Crompond Rd. in Yorktown Heights.
The benefit drive for NWH’s Bruce and Andrea Yablon Cancer Health and Wellness Program includes a series of events that began with a kickoff celebration at the Crabtree Kittle House in Chappaqua on March 15. Future events will be held at local venues in Bedford and Mount Kisco and feature a host of activities from bake sales and shopping sprees to happy hours, Zumba classes and even some trampoline time. A portion of the proceeds from each event will be donated to Northern Westchester Hospital.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Yoga, Spin, Zumba & More, Saw Mill Club – Sun, 4/2: 12:30pm: Get healthy and have fun with a Yoga, Spin or Zumba class at the Saw Mill Club in Mount Kisco. All proceeds from this $50 entry fee event will benefit the walk.
Happy Hour at Village Social – Wed, 4/5: 5-7pm. Invite friends and colleagues to enjoy great food and drinks to benefit The Fun Raisers Team (Foundation). Maybe you’ll even get to meet celebrity Chef Mogan Anthony. Read about his experience with the ice cream machine on The Food Network’s Chopped! on What To Do.
Tramp(oline)s Like Us – Rock n Jump – Wed, 4/19: 5pm: Put the kids to work for cancer at Mount Kisco’s Rock n Jump. A percentage of all entry fee and food sales at this high energy event will benefit the walk.
NWH Cancer Center Staff Bake Sales – Fri, 4/14 & 5/12 NWH’s cancer center staff will be doing their best Betty Crocker (or Duff Goldman) at these homemade bake sales to benefit The Wellness Warriors Team at the NWH Cancer Center.
Sip, Shop, Drop at J McLaughlin, Bedford – Thurs, 5/11: Treat yourselves to a Mother’s Day or summer outfit – or both! A percentage of your purchase benefits The Bedford Scrubs Team.
