Wine Geeks Carol Todd Returns to the (ZOOM) Stage

Wine Geeks Carol Todd Returns to the (ZOOM) Stage: Wine Geeks co-proprietor, Carol Todd will reprise her role alongside Jill Eikenberry in Jack Canfora’s play Jericho that premiered at The New Jersey Repertory Theatre in 2011 and ran off-Broadway in 2013 at Theatre 59E59 in Manhattan. This new production comes from a new streaming theater company New Normal Rep out of Manhattan and will be directed by four-time Academy Award-winner Marsha Mason (The Goodbye Girl, Chapter Two) .

New Normal Rep recently announced details of its inaugural four play season that will feature works by playwrights Julia Blauvelt (Airline Disaster, Youthful Journeys of the World), Jack Canfora (Fellow Travelers, Jericho, and Poetic License), Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony-nominated playwright Nilo Cruz (Anna in the Tropics, Two Sisters and a Piano), and Obie winner and Pulitzer nominee Nikkole Salter (In the Continuum, Carnaval).

About Jericho

Jericho, will kick off New Normal Rep’s season on March 4 and will stream for one-month through April 4. The New York Times called Jericho“ a smart hard-hitting drama filled with biting wit” when it premiered at the New Jersey Repertory Theatre in 2011. The play, about 9/11, Thanksgiving, and being Jewish, explores some of the larger questions of American life with surprising humor.

Jill Eikenberry is a Golden Globe and an Obie Award winner and Emmy nominee  for Uncommon Women and Others, and “LA Law”.  The Jericho cast also includes C.K. Allen, Eleanor Handley, Jason O’Connell, and Michael Satow. Carol Todd is also a member of the New Normal Rep’s Board of Directors.
